We all could use some good referrals now and again. Whether it's a job posting, an information referral, or a good webinar, how about we use this space to let each other know what we've found online and otherwise.

Wealthy Web Writer has some great articles relating to many topics - LinkedIn, money-making websites, etc. If you want the "premium" membership, it's $49 a month, but there is plenty of "free" content too.

I'm not sure why I am still not able to post external links to this forum.

However, Information Week is a great newsletter about Social Business Technology.

it seems to restrict you for your first 7 days.. I just started being able to post links tonight.. here is a site I'm working on if you have a second to review it. I'd like to have any input I can if you think it could be corrected or improved in any way.

Your website looks great!

I think the AWAI logo builds your credibility and once you have testimonials, at least one of those should go on the main page.

Your use of images is very effective and I enjoy the layout of your site.

Under "Our Services," perhaps make the subheadings - General Copywriting, etc. - a bit larger. Or, instead of general subheadings that mention your services, you might also have subheadings that emphasize your benefits and promises. Here's a good example: http://www.copywriting.com/services/copywriting/ You might also bulletpoint your other promises/benefits.

Also, "We Write the Blueprint for Your Success" could also be bigger - this seems like your main idea and promise. You might also bold or highlight in some way all the written instances of Your Ad Writer.

Great job!

Here's a resource for creating a money-making website (which can then lead to copywriting clients!):

Thanks for posting Nick Usborne's website. I'm starting his Money Making Website 7 week course in January and looking forward to getting started. Is anyone else taking the course?? I'll keep you posted on his weekly classes.

Looks great!

One small typo: Advertising is spelled with an "s" -- not a "z."

Please tell me, which hosting company and site builder did you use to get such great results?

Thanks in advance for the info.

Kind regards,

Eve Heidi

Here's a great article about a playwright who wrote a play everyday for a year. It's great inspiration for keeping up our daily quota of writing!

Hi Eve D.! I just signed up for the 7-week Money-Making Website course starting in January. I'm glad to have a familiar classmate!

Jennifer,

I'm so glad to have some company while taking this course! I'm really excited about it and can't wait for it to start. I'm all over the place with possible topics and domain names and need to narrow down my list.

As an aside, it just started snowing in beautiful Redmond, WA!!!!!

AWAI is pushing a course now by Brian Edmondson. On his website, though, he has a free download which seems to cover material in the course. He also has a newsletter, if I remember correctly.

I also got 2 free downloads (one about how to find copywriting clients) from SteveSlaunwhite.com, another AWAI Expert, and a newsletter, too, I believe.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards,

Eve Heidi

AWAI told us all about Ted Nicholas' free newsletter, "The Success Margin," but they didn't tell us about his free ebook, "87 Marketing Secrets." It's very good. If I remember correctly, after you sign up for his newsletter, he tells you about the ebook. Don't quote me on that, though.

This program that AWAI is pushing for mucho dinero is available on the cheap on Amazon.

Hi Everyone! I saw Jennifer's post about the Wealthy Web Writer from December. Just thought I'd let everyone know that they are running a special on Wealthy Web Writer, $1 for 30 days and then $29/month thereafter. The special ends on February 1st. I suspect you all got the same emails I did but a reminder never hurts. Smile

Has anyone tried signing up for writer's websites like WriterAccess.com or iwriter.com?
